Features 40 innovative designs (i.e., nautilus port and Direct/Reflecting speaker technology) to deliver more open, spacious sound throughout the listening area.

• High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI)

If you're looking to pump high-definition DVDs or TV broadcasts into your home theater, the Lifestyle 48IV will do the job. It features an HDMI output, capable of upconverting video signals to 1080p HD resolution. In addition, the LS48IV offers an HDMI input for connectivity to other high-definition components.

The Lifestyle 48IV features progressive scan playback, capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. The result is a spectacularly clear image with no motion artifacts (stair-stepping), and details so sharp they seem as if they're etched onto the screen.
